الرَّجعَة
THE RETURN*
رَجعَةُ المَوتى / The Return of the Dead
1ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): واللّهِ لا تَذهَبُ الأيّامُ واللّيالي حتّى يُحيِيَ اللّهُ المَوتى ويُمِيتَ الأحياءَ ، ويَرُدَّ الحَقَّ إلى أهلِهِ ، ويُقِيمَ دينَهُ الذي ارتَضاهُ لِنَفسِهِ.
1– Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'By Allah, the days and the nights will not come to an end before Allah revives the dead and causes the living to die, and returns rights to those they are due to, and establishes the religion that He has selected for Himself.’

رَجعَةُ المَوتى / The Return of the Dead
1ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): واللّهِ لا تَذهَبُ الأيّامُ واللّيالي حتّى يُحيِيَ اللّهُ المَوتى ويُمِيتَ الأحياءَ ، ويَرُدَّ الحَقَّ إلى أهلِهِ ، ويُقِيمَ دينَهُ الذي ارتَضاهُ لِنَفسِهِ.

مَن اُخبِرَ بِرَجعَتِهِ / The Mention of Specific People To Be Returned
2ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): لَيَبعَثَنَّ اللّهُ أحياءً مِن آدَمَ إلى محمّدٍ صلىاللهعليهوآله كلَّ نبيٍّ مُرسَلٍ ، يَضرِبُونَ بَينَ يَدَيَّ بالسَّيفِ هامَ الأمواتِ والأحياءِ الثّقلَينِ جَميعا ... وإنّ لِي الكَرَّةَ بعدَ الكَرَّةِ والرَّجعَةَ بعدَ الرَّجعَةِ ، وأنا صاحِبُ الرَّجعاتِ والكَرَّاتِ وصاحِبُ الصَّولاتِ والنَّقماتِ.
2– Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Allah will resurrect every prophet between Adam and Muhammad (SAWA), who will fight with me and strike the living and the dead from amongst men and Jinn…and I will return to life time after time, again and again, and I am the one of multiple resurrections and many returns, and the striker of bold attacks and revenges.’

3ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): أوَّلُ مَن يَرجِعُ إلى الدنيا ، الحسينُ بنُ عليٍّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) فيُمَلَّكُ حتّى يَسقُطَ حاجِباهُ على عَينَيهِ مِن الكِبَرِ.
3– Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'The first person to return to the life of this world will be Husayn b. Ali (AS), who will be made to rule until his eyebrows will protrude over his eyes as a result of his old age.’

الرَّجعَةُ لَيسَت عامَّةً / The Return Will Not Be Universal
4ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): إنّ الرَّجعَةَ لَيست بعامَّةٍ ، وهِي خاصّةٌ لا يَرجِعُ إلّا مَن مَحَضَ الإيمانَ مَحضاً أو مَحَضَ الشِّركَ مَحضاًٌ.
4– Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'Verily the Return will not be universal, but specific. Only those of absolutely pure faith or pure evil
[polytheism] will be brought back to life.’

* al-raj`aa – the Return, is one of the fundamental beliefs in the return of those of absolutely pure faith or pure evil to the life of this world, for the restoration of justice in this world. This is to take place before the Day of Resurrection (ed.)
