الفُرسُ والإيمان / The Persians and Faith
1. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ: أعظَمُ الناسِ نَصيبا في الإسلامِ أهلُ فارِسَ. (كنز العمّال: 34126).
1. The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘The people who have the greatest portion of Islam are the people of Persia.’

2. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ لمّا تَلا: «و إنْ تَتَوَلَّوا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْما غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لايَكُونوا أمْثالَكُمْ (محمّد: 38)» فَسَألُوهُ: مَن هؤلاءِ الذينَ إن تَوَلَّينا استُبدِلوا بِنا ؟ فقالَ وهُو يَضرِبُ على مَنكبِ سلمانَ: هذا وقومُهُ، والذي نفسِي بيَدِهِ لو كانَ الإيمانُ مَنوطا بالثُّرَيّا لَتَناوَلَهُ رِجالٌ من فارِسَ. 2. The Prophet (SAWA), when he recited the verse “and if you turn away He will replace you with another people, and they will not be like you”
[ Bihar al-Anwar, v. 77 p. 165 no. 2], some people asked him (SAWA), ‘Who are those who will replace us?’ He replied, putting his hand on the shoulder of Salman, ‘This man and his people. By He who holds my soul in His Hand, if faith was hung from the stars, the men of Persia would take it. ’

3. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ لمّا سُئلَ عن هذهِ الآيةِ: «يا أيُّها الّذينَ آمَنوا مَنْ يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُم عَن دِينِهِ فسَوفَ يَأتِي اللّه بقَومٍ يُحِبُّهُم و يُحِبُّونَهُ ...» فقالَ وهُو يَضرِبُ على عاتِقِ سلمانَ: هذا وذَوُوهُ، ثُمّ قالَ: لو كانَ الدِّينُ مُعَلّقا بالثُّريّا لَتَناوَلَهُ رِجالٌ مِن أبناءِ فارِسَ. (مجمع البيان :3 / 321).
3. The Prophet (SAWA), when asked about the verse, “O you who have faith! Should any of you desert his religion, Allah will soon bring a people whom He loves and who love Him”, said, patting the shoulder of Salman, ‘He and his people.’ He then said, ‘If religion was suspended from the stars, the men of Persia would take it.’

4. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ: لو كانَ العِلمُ بالثُّريّا لَتَناوَلَهُ رِجالٌ مِن فارِسَ. (كنز العمّال: 3413 1 ).
4. The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘If knowledge was suspended from the skies, the men of Persia would reach it.’

5. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ: فارِسُ عُصبَتُنا أهلَ البيتِ؛ لأنَّ إسماعيلَ عَمُّ وُلْدِ إسحاقَ، وإسحاقَ عَمُّ وُلْدِ إسماعيلَ. (كنز العمّال: 35124).
5. The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Persia is of our league of Ahl al-Bayt; for Ishmael
[Prophet Ishmael (AS) is known as Isma`Il in the Arabic tradition (ed.)] is the uncle of the children of Isaac
[Prophet Isaac (AS) is known as Ishaq in the Arabic tradition (ed.)], and Isaac is the uncle of the children of Ishmael.’

6. رسولُ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيه وَ آلِهِ لمّا ذُكِرَتِ الأعاجِمُ عِندَهُ : لَأنا بهِم أو ببَعضِهِم أوثَقُ مِنّي بكُم أو بِبَعضِكُم. (كنز العمّال: 34128).
6. The Prophet (SAWA), when non-Arabs were mentioned in front of him, said, ‘Verily I have more trust in them, or in some of them, than I have in you, or in some of you.’
